Albemarle Regional Solid Waste Management Authority

Albemarle Regional Solid Waste Management Authority

is a local government program that serves seven counties in northeastern North Carolina:  Dare, Currituck, Perquimans, Chowan, Gates, Tyrrell, and Hyde.

 

Most of the waste within this region travels through three transfer stations and on to the East Carolina Environmental Landfill, west of the Town of Windsor in Bertie County.
